With easydesi.online's Makaan or Dukaan, you can order ahead, pay online, and pickup from the store or get it door-delivered...thereby minimizing your exposure.

Plus, Makaan and Dukaan aim at increasing transparency...which means you receive the store bill every single time. Unlike other online ordering options where prices cannot be verified and are often marked-up, with easydesi.online, you can rest assured you pay no more than store prices...Reason, the actual store bill! It is a definitive way to let you know that you pay store prices!

What stores participate today?

Our aim is to help as many small local ethnic stores as possible. If your favorite store is not on the list, refer them to us (send an email to easydesi.online@gmail.com), and we will try and get them added for you.

Is there a charge for this service?

No. It is FREE of charge to our consumers.

However, if a store chooses to charge for bagging, they will inform you during checkout.

If you choose the Makaan-Home Delivery option, there maybe a Makaan delivery fee. When a fee is involved, we will display the details of what the fee(s) is in the form clearly.

The idea here is to give you store prices always and keep you informed of what you are paying for. And no fee is snuck in!

Who should I contact if I have issues with an order?

You can submit an issue through easydesi.online@gmail.com. We will let the store know, and get back to you at the earliest.

What customer data does easydesi.online share with stores?

We respect customer privacy. We share names on the order, phone number, and shopping list to the store so they can fulfill orders and contact via phone. In addition, due to the current pandemic and high order volumes, we share customer email address with stores so they can serve customers better.

Please note for issues reported, we will share the details you have provided with the store.

Easydesi.Online is not responsible for communications to you from the stores.

What should my grocery list look like?

Just a simple list would do…Your shopping list could look like this.

  1. Wheat flour – 10 lb

  2. Sugar – 2 lb

  3. Salt – 2 boxes

  4. Paneer – 2 blocks

  5. Tamarind – 1 slab

Of course, if you want to add specifics to an item, go ahead.

When will my order be ready?

  • Stores are doing their best to help us here.

  • They will most likely get to these orders as they come or by end of their day.

  • And you will hear from them as soon as they are ready.

Will my list be matched exactly?

  • Stores are going to do their best to match your order.

  • Do expect a near match if an item is unavailable.

  • Out of stock items will not be provided.

How does Makaan work?

  1. You place an order on easydesi.online.

  2. Easydesi.Online will contact you to confirm order, and help with any changes you’d like.

  3. Store receives your order and bags and bills for your groceries.

  4. Easydesi.Online will send you an email for payment for your order with the store bill and a link to securely pay for your groceries.

  5. Once you pay, your order will be scheduled for home-delivery.

How does Dukaan work?

  1. You place an order on easydesi.online.

  2. Easydesi.Online will contact you to confirm order, and help with any changes you’d like.

  3. Store receives your order and bags and bills for your groceries.

  4. Easydesi.Online will send you an email for payment for your order with the store bill and a link to securely pay for your groceries.

  5. Once you pay, your order will be scheduled for in-store pickup.

Can you walk me through how I would pay for my Dukaan or Makaan order?

For both Makaan and Dukaan, you will receive an email to pay as soon as the store bags your order and makes the bill available. The email will include the store bill and a link to securely make your payment.

Once you have successfully paid, your order will be scheduled for pickup (Dukaan) or dispatched for delivery (Makaan).

OTHER STORES

How does ordering work for all other stores (not Makaan or Dukaan)?

  1. You place an order on easydesi.online.

  2. Easydesi.Online will contact you to confirm order, and help with any changes you’d like.

  3. Store receives your order and bags and bills for your groceries, and lets you know when it's ready for pickup.

  4. You then head to the store for pickup and pay at the store.
